Welcome to the shortest maths video I have ever made.

So, the number

thirty...

six.

It's a great number, it's a square number for a start,

it is the six square number

because if you arrange 36 objects in a square, it's of side 6 by 6.

It's also a triangle number; so instead of arranging 36 things in a square,

you can arrange them in a triangle. Specifically it is the eighth triangle number.

My challenge for you is: can you find another number where this works.

So I want a number where some number squared equals some other number triangled.

And that there is the formula for triangle numbers.

Do other such triangle squared numbers exist, and if they do...

What is the pattern behind them?
